My New Love

I rode the River Rail trolley Friday and I’ll likely ride it every day from here on out.  You see, our new offices for Station X are in downtown Little Rock and parking is at a premium.  No, let me rephrase that: parking is ridiculously expensive! So, I tried parking my car in downtown North Little Rock (10 minutes from the house), hopping on board the trolley and enjoying a ride that dropped me off directly in front of our new offices! Going back was even faster and easier.  Total cost? $2.00 and a multi-ride pass will make it even cheaper. Count me as a new fan and a regular trolley commuter! I do wonder why more people don’t consider the possibility…

    The wife and I live in Argenta and we got married on the trolley. We can walk over to the River Market in about the same time it takes to ride over on the trolley. What prevents us from riding over on the trolley is that we always have our dog with us and he is not welcome on the trolley though he is better behaved than most children.

    I love to hear good news regarding the trolley so many are too quick to be nay sayers about it.

    I would love to ride the trolley. I live in Overbrook and work at UALR. Perhaps someday it will expand that far.

    It would be really great if there were a station at say....McCain Mall leaving for points all over LR.
